  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lebanon County Pennsylvania by Y P: Great service!
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lebanon County Pennsylvania by Bruce Wightman: Lumina is an excellent option for the installation of a solar system. We installed roof panels with a battery backup. Design process and initial consultations were a very encouraging experience. It was many months, however, between a signed contract and installation. Pricing is a little high compared to some competitors. There were some complications with installation, with one significant error taking two visits to correct. Once installed, however, the system operates beautifully-- very much as described. We've been making electricity for two years now with no issues and gotten through a couple of short power outages running off our battery as expected from specs. The only real complaint is that communication was sometimes lacking. It's hard to get a live person on the phone and there was lots of telephone tag required to resolve issues during installation. Having said that, the reps and techs were really terrific-- and that prompts confidence in the work itself.
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lebanon County Pennsylvania by Jeff Chapman: Lumina Solar is the way to go. Jack Wood was our rep and explained everything in detail. Our project was pushed back by a couple of days due to snow and high winds (install was in January), but the guys came out on Saturday and Sunday to finish up and get back on schedule. I received quotes from 2 other companies and Lumina was right in the middle. The company with the low offer did not have the length of warranty that Lumina has. They did not have many positive reviews, and I did not get that warm and fuzzy feeling from their very pushy sales guy. The high quote was more than double what Lumina came in at. They also said that their panels would be able to cover 100% of my electric usage. When I sent Jack my electric bills he was shocked at how much we use (family of 8, work from home, kids home schooled, etc). He was honest and said there is no way that we could get 100% covering our existing roof panels. we would need another 10 panels. He said their panels will only produce about 75% of our electric usage. He is spot on for the last 7 months. I am planning on a roof over our patio in the next couple of years and I will definitely be using Lumina to cover that roof with panels.
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lebanon County Pennsylvania by Mike Wolfe: My system was just installed in June, and Lumina Solar is the Go-To company. Very straightforward, they handled everything from permits to financing to installation. Courtney Sollenberger was very easy to work with, attentive to my needs and always got me answers in a timely manner. They've earned elite status, and their caring and professionalism shows it. Lumina Solar is one of the best, if not the best company to go with. I highly recommend them.
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lebanon County Pennsylvania by Rebecca McCracken: We had a great experience with Lumina Solar. Our project manager, Alex, guided us through the entire process and made the experience easy. Our system has been up and running seamlessly. Highly recommend Lumina Solar.
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lebanon County Pennsylvania by John Kiker: Lumina made getting solar very simple. All we did was say “let’s go “ and the rest was done by them. Township approval, HOA, Electric Co. everything. We just sat back and watched. They were all very professional and Peter Hayes was great, always there when needed. You won’t be disappointed
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lebanon County Pennsylvania by emimca: Working with Pete Hayes from Lumina Solar was effortless. He made the whole process easy, simple, smooth. Pete handled all aspects of the project, which is exactly what a busy professional and parent like myself needed in order to get the solar panels up on the roof!
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lebanon County Pennsylvania by Brady Bowlin: Shopped around for solar for a bit before finally landing on Lumina, and I must say I was instantly impressed. Phillip was amazing at not only walking me through the process and helping me pick a system that fit my needs, but also answering any of the many questions I had throughout the entire process and keeping me updated from start to finish. Install day went without a hitch, and both the installers and electricians did an amazing job of explaining the process of installing all 36 panels and any electric work needing to be done! 11/10 would recommend for any and all solar needs!!
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lebanon County Pennsylvania by Alex Mackenzie: Very fine establishment!
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lebanon County Pennsylvania by Amanda Rahi: Excellent experience all around. I had been considering going solar for quite some time and had looked into a number of companies. It wasn't until I spoke to Philip at Lumina that I decided to move forward. He was very helpful every step of the way and made the entire process easy and straightforward. Also, the whole crew at Lumina was very professional and did great work. I highly recommend!
  • Sun path variations throughout the year
  • Microclimates brought on by neighboring structures and foliage
  • Optimal panel tilt and orientation to make the most of energy capture
  • Integration with existing electrical systems

Anecdotally, a homeowner in Bucks County once believed a shaded yard disagreed for solar. Lumina's team demonstrated how strategic placement on an eastern roofing system section might still capture adequate sunlight, turning apprehension into enjoyment.

Professional Tips for Solar Style Success

  1. Conduct a comprehensive site assessment at different times of the day to identify shading concerns.
  2. Usage advanced simulation software application to predict energy output over seasons, not simply bright days.
  3. Consider future tree development or nearby construction that might modify sunshine direct exposure.
  4. Design for simple expansion, enabling additional panels as energy needs grow.
